McCain Repeates a Lie

Holy fucking shit, I was just watching this and McCain just repeated the ebay lie, at the 7:50 minute mark he says this.
How many saw her speech a couple nights ago? Wasn’t it fabulous? You know what I enjoyed the most? She took the luxury jet that was acquired by her predecessor and sold it on ebay, and made a profit.
We just learned this was a lie, and now McCain is out there repeating it. Even going further than Palin who, if I remember right, only said she put it up on ebay, and now McCain thinks it actually sold via ebay. They’re using a lie to promote their platform, how do we know everything else isn’t a lie? McCain cannot be trusted with something as simple as wither a luxury jet was sold on ebay or not, how can we be so sure he’s going to cut taxes? What about his supreme court nominees, if he’s willing to lie about something small what’s the problem with lying about something big?
I can see why they would use it as a talking point to start, but after the blogger world calls you out on it you’re best to shut your mouth. The biggest policy example they have for Palin is a lie, what else don’t we know about her.
They also lied about making a profit.
After going unsold for months, the jet was put into the hands of Turbo North Aviation, an Anchorage aircraft broker, which put an asking price of $2.45 million on the nearly $2.7 million jet. It quickly sold to Alaska businessman Larry Reynolds for $2.1 million ($31,000 of which went to Turbo Aviation). Today the Westwind II jet spends its days ushering wealthy hunters around Alaska and Russia.
They lost $600,000 on the sale, that’s hardly a profit. Now you could say that with the fuel savings they’ve defiantly made a good business decision in the long run, but as far as the sale of the jet went they lost money. Lies lies lies, this is a horrible campaign they’re running.
